Shaping Up
Hydro towers are an integral part of our urban and rural infrastructure. They’re woven into the fabric of our surroundings, ever present as they crisscross our everyday landscape. They’re often considered ugly, a blight on the landscape, but there’s no denying their importance. I’m fascinated by their tall structures with their geometric shapes, and the eye-drawing lines that run between them.
In this photograph I’ve focussed on the shapes built into them and how they contrast with soft blur of the sky and clouds.
