Out of the Wilderness

Into Wilderness

I’m at a point in the year where I have to shift gears a little, as I prepare for some art shows over the summer. With the first show being in June, this means I have to start planning now! I have to decide on the main theme or focus of my work, choose the images I’ll show, print/mat/frame them, set prices, get booth supplies, plan the layout and so on. It’s a lot of work but once it’s done I have a template I can use for each show, and that makes it much easier.

So with that in mind, I thought I’d share one of my new composites, which I might include in the shows, though I haven’t actually decided yet. Into Wilderness incorporates elements of several images taken in Killarney Provincial Park in Ontario. I love Killarney for its natural and wild look, and the fact that it has great hiking trails that give people access to it at the same time as helping preserve the overall condition and appearance of the park. A truly wonderful place. Have you been there?

Back onto the subject of shows, the initial details are below. They're all weekend dates and in Toronto so if you're in the area, please drop in and say "hello" if you can.
