I've been taking photographs on and off for many years and have become happily more entrenched in it over the past six years or so.    There are so many things to see and experience and it’s great to be able to reflect, record and re-present just a few of them as time moves on.  

I like to create a variety of images, the majority of them being landscapes. In landscapes I’ll include anything from rural to urban to industrial, buildings and so on.  Shades of the familiar and the not–so familiar. I see pretty much everything around us as a landscape, so I’m definitely using the term in its broadest sense.   My images may often be abstract as I’m very much enticed by patterns, colours and textures, often in the most simple things such as water, clouds and plants. They can be subtle or much more blatant, but equally mesmerizing.    

More recently I've been experimenting with composite images, layering, blending, and digitally painting multiple photographs to create a new kind of landscape and a different way to tell a story.
